Madeline Ferme

Madeline is the Fundraising & Grants Manager at Carbon Gap, where she focuses on developing and implementing fundraising strategies. She is dedicated to building and maintaining strong, impactful partnerships to support the organisation’s mission.

Madeline has spent nearly a decade working in the not-for-profit sector, specialising in fundraising and project management. Her primary focus has been on cultural institutions, including museums, festivals, and art galleries. She has led teams at major public institutions in Australia, notably during her seven-year tenure at the National Gallery of Victoria. There, her project management portfolio included the procurement and design of The Fox: NGV Contemporary – a new purpose-built art gallery for the state of Victoria. She also contributed to securing funding for this project, and the Melbourne Arts Precinct Transformation, with a combined value exceeding $1 billion.

Prior to joining the Carbon Gap team, Madeline was based in Singapore and subsequently the Netherlands, where she worked as a freelance consultant providing project management services across industries ranging from television to construction. Her move into the climate sector stems from a personal value for the environment and a commitment to making a positive impact on the planet.
